With her leadership, compassion, and strong focus on people, Christine helps ensure our organisation continues to grow and support participants in the best way possible.
Julie is our Plan Manager and is responsible for overseeing finances and administration related to participant plans. An experienced bookkeeper, she has been managing NDIS plans since the scheme rolled out in our area, bringing extensive knowledge and reliability to her role.

Ingrid is the Service Manager and oversees the day-to-day operations of the organisation. Ingrid also manages the website, administration, and supports the wider team in every role when needed.

Katinka has previous experience in aged care and home care and now works across all areas of disability support, including with both adults and children, as well as people with complex needs and challenging behaviours. She holds a Certificate III in Individual Support and is a Keyworker, currently also filling in the role of SIL Manager.
Tink is well liked by both clients and staff and is known for her diligence, professionalism, and approachable manner. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, fishing, cooking, and socialising with family and friends.
Connie keeps everything running smoothly in the office as our Administrator and HR Officer. She’s often the first friendly voice you’ll hear on the phone or the first smiling face to greet you when you come through the door.

Brad is the Team Leader of our Day Programs and also manages our fleet of vehicles. He holds a Certificate IV in Disability and has extensive experience across all areas of support, including working with children, people with complex needs, and those with challenging behaviours.

Sue began her career at MDSS in 2005 as a Support Worker, later progressing to Team Leader and Management roles until her retirement in 2014. Since then, Sue has served on the Board, including roles as Secretary and, for the past 3½ years, as Chairperson. In this capacity, she focuses on governance, strategic oversight, and ensuring the organisation continues to deliver high-quality services.

Nicole is a Psychologist working and living in Orange NSW. She has been providing psychological treatment and support to adolescents and adults with mental illness and psychosocial disabilities for over a decade. She also provides diagnostic and functional assessments to people with Autism, ADHD, intellectual and learning difficulties, brain injuries, and mental health challenges. Prior to psychology, Nicole worked in child protection, out-of-home care, youth homelessness, and drug and alcohol services.
Board Contribution
Nicole joined the board in date and has served as the Secretary since January 2024. Nicole first learned about MDSS in 2011 and was privileged to observe some of the exciting and unique activities the MDSS participants were involved in and how their efforts were giving back to the community. She did not hesitate to join the board when invited.
Since joining the board, she has contributed ideas and knowledge from a psychosocial supportive stance that have been thoughtful, inclusive, and affirming. Following the bittersweet retirement of Lyn from the role as Secretary, Nicole has continued to ensure efficient and compliant board operations by organising meetings, recording accurate minutes, and maintaining official corporate records.
Vision
With over a decade of experience as a psychologist and another decade in community welfare, Nicole is passionate about advocating for the psychosocial needs of the disability sector. She intends to continue utilizing her position on the Board to ensure that MDSS staff and participants alike are treated with respect, dignity, and an affirmative approach that acknowledges personal strengths and opportunities for growth whilst also ensuring that MDSS staff and participants are feeling supported and validated by the organisation and governing board.

As a professional accountant, Simon is committed to giving back to the community and believes that supporting people with disabilities is one of the most rewarding ways to do this. Simon has been an MDSS board member since 2008 and is amazed by what MDSS has achieved during his time on the Board. Simon is proud of all the Board representatives he has worked with over the years who have shared the responsibility for the corporate governance and ensured the long-term existence and evolution of MDSS. Simon acknowledges though, that the real heroes are the staff involved in supporting the disability participants with their direct care and access to programs.
