MDSS staff are here to help you achieve your goals, no matter how small or how big. We want you to feel comfortable, at home and confident with the people that will support you, so we make sure you have choice and control in all areas, from selecting the support staff of your choice to any program or activity that you would like to attend. You may decide to pop in for an hour or so for Woodwork, and then come back later in the day for a little bit of Zumba. Your plan is flexible and so should your activities and programs be as well.
We provide drop-in supports to your home with the times and days of your choice and the services that you need as well as community and social participation, day program centre activities, short-term accommodation (respite and holidays), transport to and from appointments and activities and helping you to learn new skills and try new things. You have all the choice and control for the services and supports that you want.
We have support workers that have many talents including artists, singers, dancers, fitness instructors, martial artists, panel beaters, skilled horse
Our monthly calendar of activities allows you to choose group program activities within the centre and out in the community on a monthly basis, so you don't have to feel locked into any one activity.
Things can change quite rapidly in our lives, and we want to assure all of our NDIS participants that we will make immediate changes to any supports or services that you need as quickly and as smoothly as possible. That is why our Service Coordinator is always on hand to sort out any supports, issues or changes that you require 24/7.
